Out of curiosity…
For devs who are experimenting with the new macOS 26 changes, is it possible to opt out of the “unmoored” floating sidebar style with SwiftUI, or are you forced to use it?

I have to say, the new #macos26beta Tahoe looks pretty nice, especially when paired with the iconic #SnowLeopard wallpaper.
The new updates look cool, but is not enough for me to leave #Linux as my go to OS. -
So, I installed macOS 26 Tahoe in a VM in VirtualBuddy, and when I tried to create a Shortcut with an AI step, I was told Apple Intelligence was not available on this Mac. Say what now? It's a MacBook Pro with an M1 Pro and 32GB of RAM. 😠
Could this be a VM configuration issue? I only gave it access to 5 cores and 16GB of RAM.
EDIT: Apple Intelligence does not work at all in VMs.
