Finalmente ho terminato la riparazione del Classic II (compresi i condensatori SMD su motherboard) e del Macintosh plus che mi serviranno per un'idea che ho in testa... @danhero @Divoratore tenetevi pronti a spedirmi le vostre macchine :)

Mentre sto impazzendo con la analog board del Classic II (veramente costruita al risparmio), tra il montaggio della nuova puntata di "venerdì 16" ed il buongiornissimo di @kenobit , ho trovato il tempo di rimettere in sesto il drive esterno del Plus 1mb ...la qualità Apple è sempre stata ad un altissimo livello (è chiaramente un'affermazione sarcastica)

Ho ripulito dall'acido la analog board cambiando tutti i condensatori tranne due (che arriveranno venerdì) il diodo, il regolatore di tensione e l'induttore corrosi... a breve passerò alla sostituzione dei condensatori SND della scheda logica. La cosa che mi affascina di questa macchina è la relazione potenza/dimensioni ...l'ultimo Classic prodotto

Ho provveduto a dissaldare il primo gruppo di condensatori da cui sono partite le perdite di acido e la situazione non è delle migliori la scheda logica a ha subito gravi danni... Il diodo Schottky mbr 1045 e regolatore di tensione lm7912 sono stati con tutta probabilità distrutti dall'acido oltre che probabilmente alcune resistenze e condensatori ceramici...speriamo bene #retrocomputing #retrocomputer #mac40thanniversary #mac #Macintosh

I'm seeing lots of posts about the Mac's 40th anniversary, with many pics of old Macs. I came across this old snap from ~2003. I think my assistant and I were laughing at how much stuff was on the desk, as the two of us worked on quite a big project.

There's a lot in here for the Mac geeks to spot!! (and yes... it continued hereafter 🙂)
