Zu denken gibt auch die Rückkehr der Gönnervereine. Das sind Vereine, die zwischen der Partei und der Spender:in stehen und die ursprüngliche Spender:in anonymisieren.

Auch Lücken im Transparenzgesetz werden rege genutzt: sie erlauben, dass wohl Firmen, aber nicht die dahinterstehenden Familien im Register der Eidgenössischen Finanzkontrolle (EFK) auftauchen.

Banken, Versicherungen und Wirtschaftsverbände steckten zusammen 4,4 Millionen Franken in die Parteien, 53 Prozent aller offengelegten Spenden. Davon gingen 96 Prozent an FDP, SVP, Mitte und GLP.

Grösste Geldgeberin war Economiesuisse mit 1,6 Millionen an dieselben vier Parteien, satte 1,2 Millionen davon an die FDP.
