Icarus, Odilon Redon
I'm not sure what Icarus is holding aloft? An offering? Idk.
Maybe it would have been flying too close to the sun, artistically, to include sex organs.
The intense orange is really cool, the posture and the wings and the contrast, I think this is a poetic and humanistic representation of Icarus. This noble beast is gonna drown when his wings melt, but aren't we all gonna die when our wings melt? haha.
