If you're job hunting and see any posts advertised through "Lensa," I'd steer clear. I wasted a good deal of time yesterday trying to apply for a job that didn't even show up on their list after entering all my contact info.

The only results I got from Lensa were a bunch of irrelevant spam emails. It took a while, but I think I've managed to unsubscribe from multiple senders. #Lensa

It's unfortunate that #AbbieShores, who is the artist contact for #FineArtAmerica and #Pixels, is so openly hostile to artists who ask questions of her.

Because you know it's coming.

Think one of those novelty AI avatars, except generated from your last 20 Instagram photos, and the theme is you holding a Prada bag.

Or some data mining operation that pulls together a script that tells a ChatGPT-style chatbot to write a 200-word article about "how Jane from Endeavour Hills can make a fortune selling NFTs".

I will almost guarantee some dudebros are working on it right now.

Ich habe Lensa AI noch 3 Wochen Pause nochmals getestet und völlig andere Fotos erhalten. Fokus aufs Gesicht. Brillen kennt die KI nun auch. Offenbar wurde ziemlich dran herumgeschraubt.

PS: es ändert aber nichts daran, dass man a) die Nutzungsrechte der KI-Kunstwerke von sich kostenlos hergibt b) die Bilder zum Training der Datenbank von Künstlern ohne Entgelt genommen wurden c) dass BIAS weiterhin existiert. Nein, es ist jetzt nicht einfach alles gut.

Anybody manage to use #midijourney successfully through their #Discord site? Today (jan 6th) is an absolute nightmare. Can't access via desktop because it won't recognize my login details. Used the QR code and was bounced back to the main midijourney.com logon page.
IF they're looking for paid subscribers they're surely about to lose a prospective one.

Ich hatte mir #Lensa installiert, um mal das mit den Avataren auszuprobieren, um dann festzustellen, dass ich nicht eitel genug für die App bin. Es sind einfach nicht genug Selfies auf dem Smartphone 😂

Da sie mich aber regelmäßig mit Notifications erinnert, dass ich die App endlich benutzen soll und letzten Chance und so...

...da habe ich sie deinstalliert. 🤷‍♂️

@estranho I think art that originates simply because a person put a bot in motion to scour the Internet is inevitable, if not already here.

Now that I think about it, let's take #LensA as an example. Yes, humans created that #AI. But is that image of me "art"? Sure it would be pretty and makes me look better than I ever would in person. But it serves only to feed my ego, not to express anything, and not to advance the viewer.
