Fuck this shit. I'm yoloing this Filament PHP script plugin for Turnstile with #AlpineJS.
If it works, great. If it doesn't, I'll push a patch. Won't lose another day trying to test Filament shit.

"Oh, but if you use #WebAwesome you need to bridge it to Laravel Livewire"
Yes, but for that I can make it open source, ask for $10 for donations, and eventually get it for $0.

No fuckign way I'll pay $150 for Flux.
1. Documentation doesn't let you filter non-pro components. Nice dark pattern.
2. No animations or transitions. For $150 you can get FontAwesome 7 Pro Lite+ and Web Awesome 3.0.
If they sold the UI for $50 I would give it a thought, but for $150 it's really bad deal.

My biggest problem with #Filament is that their form inputs do not validate themselves live, as default.
Plus, there is no way to make them validate themselves lives by default or any convenient method to do it. You will have to put an ugly callback on each of them to validate on state change.

It is the small "quality of life" things like the new #LaravelLivewire `wire:current` that make me really appreciate the contributors behind the code. Simple little features that heals years of small paper cuts and coding up solutions myself. Great work @calebporzio

Any #Laravel folks also #LaravelLivewire folks?
Let me know, I'll give you a follow!

Stressful evening as the holiday club registration system I wrote for the church was put to the test, with 70 kids being checked in across multiple devices on a shoddy internet connection.
#laravel & #laravellivewire made it easy. Tomorrow’s job: live updating with websockets

Anyone here used #LaravelLivewire in a heavily trafficked site?
How wrong is it to use models as component properties vs individual fields?
