Today’s monkey was part of a troop that hung out outside of Bat Cave on Langkawi. We were warned not to have too much with us so we wouldn’t get robbed while passing by them to get to the cave

  9. FlyDubai (FZ) has announced its plans to introduce daily flights to Langkawi (LGK) and Penang (PEN) in Malaysia from 10 February 2024.

    This move establishes FZ as the first airline to link these highly sought-after destinations with the United Arab Emirates through daily flights.

  10. Another win for Malaysia! Langkawi International Airport (LGK) won the award for Best Airport of 2 to 5 million passengers per annum (mppa) in Asia-Pacific category at the ACI Global Customer Experience Summit 2023 in Incheon, Korea.

  11. At least 10 people have died after a light #aircraft crashed at the #Elmina Township. The incident occurred at around 2.40pm on Thursday (17 Aug).

    The aircraft which took off from #Langkawi was cleared to land at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in #Subang when it lost communication with the control tower.

    The aircraft crashed into the #road and hit a car and motorcycle. At least two crew members and six #passengers were on board the flight.
