Finally finished these socks. They were my second backup project so only pulled out when I couldn't do the first two. I reaquainted myself with cabling, discovered how annoying cable needles could be on, say, a crowded train, but then learned how to cable without a needle. Yay!
Also reaquainted myself with how much I don't enjoy magic loop knitting so went back to a set of dpns for the second sock. And so the second sock is about two sizes larger which no one but me (and you) will ever know.
The pattern is on Ravelry called Slippery Slope Socks

My first "fun yarn" socks are done! I was clearly stressed when working on my second sock as the tension is significantly tighter (might have to size up my needles for the next pair 🙈), but they are cute and chaotic and I am proud of them ❤️
