I prefer summer with going barefoot or wearing sandals, but at least when it gets cold I get to wear boots and hand knit socks.

I don't enjoy knitting fine-gauge colourwork on DPNs, so I knit the cuffs/legs of these socks on the machine, then switched to hand-knitting for the plain stockinette feet. And of course, I blogged about it :)

Despite multiple issues with the way the pattern was written, I'm really happy with these finished socks! They're thick, squishy, and warm. (And yes, the legs are the same length when one sock isn't turned sideways.)

Po hodně dlouhé době dokončené ponožky. Inspiraci na vzor jsem našla tady na mastodonu, takže : Hle, jak inspirující prostředí!
Fotku jsem pořídila zrcadlovkou, a lehce upravila ve photoshopu. Úplně mi nevychází kompozice. Je to prostě jiné než mobil. Ale to pude! Co je hodně pozitivní, že mobil nedokázal zachytit tu krásnou starorůžovou, což zrcadlovka zvládla na první dobrou.https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/show-off-stranded-socks

Terapie pletením. Tyhle mi trvaly jen měsíc a půl, což je u mě dost neobvyklé. Ale jsou jarní, tak jsem je nechtěla dokončovat ani v létě a ani na podzim, chápete... A navíc mi opravdu pomáhá jen si tak sedět, plést a koukat na něco nenáročného na přemýšlení.

Chodí k nám zákaznice Péťa. Potykala si se mnou hned jak zjistila, že jsme jmenovkyně. Je to takovej družnej typ zákazníka, takže si vždycky sdělujem, kdy nám končí šichta, co doma a já párkrát obdivovala její mini nákupní tašky. No a dneska přišla a jednu mi dala, aby mě nepokakal beránek.
Takže s těma fuskama můžu přestat chvátat, když už mám taštičku, že jo?

Hot off the needles.
Pro mě tedy ponožky tímto způsobem už plést nebudu. Mají vcelku nízký nárt, takže mi jsou hodně natěsno. Navíc se musí plést jinak dlouhé, než jsem zvyklá u klasické německé paty, a i když jsem měla vše změřeno, nevyšlo mi to o 1 cm, a musela jsem nastavovat špičku, což mě teda dost otrávilo.

První praní upletených ponožek probíhá ručně. Oproti očekávání pouštěly barvu ty tyrkysové( Gründl - Hot socks), i když jsem sázela na ty červené (Sportivo - Vlnap).

Budoucí ponožky...
Objednala jsem si na vlnap.cz položku, kterou mají nazvanou "barevné překvapení", takže vůbec netušíte, co bude v krabici za barvy. Nooo, jsem spoko. -
