Finished the Malabrigo KAL Orienta shawl last week. Didn’t need another shawl. But when I saw the pattern, I couldn’t resist, knowing I had just the right yarn in my stash. It’s sock yarn but knitted on 4 mm needles, so it has lovely drape without being too loose. Very pleased with the result. #Knitting #HandKnit

It's done! Last night I finished knitting the Midwest Moonlight scarf for my MIL. I washed it and blocked it, and it should (hopefully) be fully dry in a day or so.
This is my second time making this pattern by Ivy Bigelow, and I love how the blocks are angled in different directions. 🧶

Finished #knitting this Flax sweater. Started #spinning the yarn for it in August last year. One single was a multicoloured bamboo/merino, the other one a solid blue Shetland, twined together into a lovely soft fingering yarn. #handspinning #handknit

@Herbivore Oh my gosh, I’m stunned to learn how this industry operates. Now I think back to the one handknitted Norwegian sweater my grand folks brought me age 12 from their travels there. I loved that sweater so much, with angora yarn knit into the yoke design. Never had something angora again but now what I know about this, I definitely will avoid it.

Sun Glitter Shawl from Under The Olive Tree blocked. Now I only have to sew in ends. I used it to practice the new to me technique of Portuguese style knitting.
