I think there’s a poltergeist in my kitchen. I fumbled an empty bottle and it smashed everywhere. My vacuum cleaner stopped working after about two seconds. I put butter in the microwave to melt, and about three seconds in, the butter exploded everywhere. It sounded like a bomb went off in my nuker. A half cup of butter everywhere except in the bowl, and I wasn’t even using high heat. Then I noticed that two of my dish cloths, which were fine yesterday, were torn to shreds, like someone had gone at them with a knife. And none of the jars of apple pie filling I made the other day sealed. What do you think is going on? #KitchenWitchery

Another canning day. I found blueberries for cheap, so made a bunch of jam. The funny thing is, I don’t eat much jam. I like making it more than I like eating it, and my jam is good. #canning #blueberries #jam #preserves #KitchenWitchery

The weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful.
