We drove on U.S. 101 through King City a couple weeks ago. It’s a freeway now, with multiple lanes, interchanges, and entrance/exit ramps. Cool to see this picture of the “same” road taken 90 years ago.

The Salinas Valley Safe Routes to School Program has been officially adopted by the Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC) board of directors and the #Gonzales, #Soledad, #Greenfield, and #KingCity city councils. We were especially interested today in the Soledad section, because we’re currently assisting a Soledad teen who received a traffic citation for riding outside a bicycle lane.
