Recently our #Salinas #Chinatown neighbor Urban Arts Collaborative got its front entry glass door smashed in. Violence has increased since Union Pacific did an aggressive "sweep" moving all the homeless folks away from the railroad tracks. They move their tents back onto Soledad St. but take their anger out on the nonprofits and health services etc. there. Something needs to change. There will be a discussion about this at the next City Council meeting on Tuesday.
