Happy Saturday, mutuals. Lots of #juneteenth celebrations going on this weekend. A happy #juneteenth2023 to all. The battle for equality is far from over for most minority groups, especially African Americans. Subject to institutional racism, discrimination in housing, jobs, education and access to services; our African American brothers and sisters now face voting restrictions, increasing hostility and the erasure of the actual history of their race in building our country. It is a difficult time, requiring more involvement and direct action to stem the reactionary white supremest and christian nationalist movements spearheading contemporary hate and discrimination. #race #racerelations #equality #HumanRights
