Jacob Kiplimo hat sich den Halbmarathon-Weltrekord zurückgeholt. Und wie! Mit 56:42 Minuten steigerte er am Sonntag in Barcelona die Bestmarke gleich um 48 Sekunden. Einen Fünf-Kilometer-Abschnitt rannte er sogar unter 13 Minuten. Amanal Petros lief nach Problemen in der Vorbereitung eine ordentliche Zeit, der deutsche Rekord war jedoch außer Reichweite.
