  1. Which it would. I didn't explain that reason to the bloke at the BBC, he just went away feeling rather offended, as he happened to be the producer..”

That would have been Naismith, and Dee must have appeared over 200 times. There can only be half a dozen who have appeared more. #ISIHAC #ImSorryIHaventAClue (2/2)

  3. Hell of a quote from Jack Dee in Jem Roberts’ “The Clue Bible” #ISIHAC #ImSorryIHaventAClue

“I've been listening for as long as I can remember, and I was once asked by someone at the BBC which radio shows would I like to be on, and I said in answer to this, "There's one show that I never want to appear on, and that is I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue." And my reason for this was that it was so great that I wouldn't want my own voice to spoil it. (1/2)

  5. Digging up show details, old tapes and recordings… but missing a couple of crucial details (and not sure how reliable my memory is) so concluding that... I Haven't A Clue. #ImSorryIHaventAClue #ISIHAC

  7. I think I went to four recordings over the years (so 8 shows) the first at the Old Ship and the rest at the Theatre Royal… But it was recorded in Brighton 5 times in the 90s so which one did I miss? #ImSorryIHaventAClue #ISIHAC

  9. Current status: Down the rabbit hole of trying to work out which recordings of I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue I went to in Brighton in the 1990s… #ImSorryIHaventAClue #ISIHAC

  15. #JukeboxFridayNight has theme #MusicMusiciansAndMashups, songs about making music from existing tunes and lyrics.

What better mashup is there than "One Song to the Tune of Another".

Here's what happened for Christmas 1999. They've had a letter from a certifiable lunatic, who suggests singing "The Lord's Prayer" to the tune of "Auld lang syne". What a foolish idea.

Here's "Bachelor boy" sung to the tune of "Auld lang syne". And the converse.

There was a young lady from Slough
Who last year developed a cough
    She wasn't to know
    It would last until now
Let's hope the poor girl will pull through

  20. Right then.
As Goofy's tail points to the 10 and Mickey's hand points to the 12...
I have to wonder if this Rolex is a fake

  22. The #BBCRadio4 audio version of the news report about enormous #British #organs starts from around 21m55 (might be geo-restricted to UK only?).

It features some suitable musical accompaniments, and you can also definitely hear the smirks from the reporter and interviewee 😏

  23. “The rest of the world can’t get enough of #British #organs

The #BBCRadio4 news report on this story managed to be so much more in the proper completely innocent spirit of #ISIHAC than the sadly rather dry and shrunken written version about worn out and poorly cared for organs. Sadly the lovely Samantha did not feature in either report, perhaps she was helping the vicar with his rubbings?
