As i say towards the end, I have a handful of critiques of the game, but don’t get me wrong, the game is enjoyable for fans of the Alien franchise and I encourage people to check it out.

I struggled with a top-line quote here, as i wanted something from the Alien franchise, and I must admit, there is a bunch of really good lines from the movies... But I couldn't find anything that stood out to me.
Ultimately, it doesn't matter.

I didn't touch on it, and I probably should have in the full write up, during the LV-426 mission there is a mandatory touch screen section, which can be slightly frustrating, followed by a boss fight. Failing the boss fight, would put you before the touch screen section...

I've been sitting on this one for a while. Probably as long as I was sitting on Alien Trilogy.

Being a game that, I assume, was made to just push the Coca-Cola brand, I was surprised at not only how competent this game was but also how enjoyable it was.

Sure. It does feel, and play like, a Sonic clone. At least they did it well!

Alien Trilogy was probably one of the scariest games I played in 2025, this is mostly because I am ridiculously scared of the Xenomorph, and because they nailed atmosphere so well.

After a while, it wasn't so bad, I was able to play through the game as I would any other game, but I remember the first time trying to play the first few levels and feeling paralysed with fear.

It doesn't help that the shotgun is a horrifically ineffective weapon, but once you get the Pulse Rifle, things become significantly more manageable.

This post i had originally drafted back around July/August. Which goes to show how long I have been sitting on a couple of these drafts!

And then we have Italian Exclusive Sailor Moon Puzzle platformer. Sailor Moon La Luna Splende.
I had started writing this post a few weeks ago, this is less about the game itself and more about my history with Sailor Moon and the mental journey I went on when looking into this game.
Sadly, the game itself is pretty mediocre.
Sailor Moon deserves better.

That's one down, about 9 more to go.

I may have played this game and done this write up last year, around September, but my thoughts still hold true on this one.

THE Daibijin was possibly one of the most disappointing games of 2025 for me, mostly because it was a concept that had such potential and it was terribly squandered to deliver a very mediocre and poorly controlling flight sim.

This took a while to get up because I had to do another pass over with the proofreading, which i am really bad at, and also I wanted to gather screenshots from the game.
Going forward I want to have my own curated screenshots with each Blog post, which could be aa nuisance, but we will see how that goes!
