"Influencers," or worse, influencers posing as "professionals" have this really nasty habit of speaking in the most generic, generalized, vague terms possible… because they want to cast a wide net with their "reach"… and then getting pissy mad when you fill in the blanks THEY LEFT with your own personal experience.

They should follow the dictum for songwriting: the more specific and detailed, the truer it rings.

But hey, we all know they welcome the pushback - and may be DELIBERATELY obtuse - just because it boosts their "numbers" or what the fuck ever.

But goddamn. This is Communication 101 - coming from someone who's autistic! If you REALLY want to CONNECT with people, making massively accusatory statements WITHOUT CLARIFYING DETAILS is a GREAT way to be MISUNDERSTOOD.

But they don't care. It's engagement farming. And I fall for it and get duly yelled at for "projecting" every damn time. WELL WHAT ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH A BLANK SCREEN OTHER THAN PROJECT. HUH? FUCK YOU.
