Having a quiet weekend around here. Went for a #Ukulele lesson, played a ton of #IdleIktah and took a luxurious nap. Now let's see if I can dig my way out of this mini reading slump. Haven't been able to lose myself in a book since last weekend. Hmm, wonder why.

So, I was grouching earlier about a lack of entertaining games on #iOS for #Blind folks. #IdleIktah has become the new favorite and is very accessible, with more updates on the way (yay for active devs!) I also have #SwordyQuest, though that one hasn't been updated in two years; #HomeQuest, which has a few accessibility quirks but is still very playable and being regularly worked on by the dev in spite of longer times between updates; and Sonar Islands, which can get boring and very repetitive for me but is still fun when the inclination is there. Hope this will help someone who is looking!

@cookiejarradio Nope, in this video I've barely started alchemy. The Winter 2024 episode is beyond where you're at. As to being "too far behind" in general, there is no such thing. That is the beauty of #IdleIktah, that we are all moving in our own time at our own pace.

#ThatMomentWhen you wake up and check your game to find you've gone to bed with it set to "combat," but forgot to change out of your business suit first, so the mobs gave you the business instead! #IdleIktah #Oops! #OutOfFish

@dotsonapage @accessibleandroid That would be cool. I probably wouldn't do it at the moment since I'm in the midst of a Youtube walkthrough series that I'm recording on my iPad. There is a way to export and, I think, import, but I don't think it can be done automatically. #IdleIktah

It's Christmas morning, I'm fighting mobs in this idle RPG, and they keep dropping iron ore on me. ... I'm like, I know naughty folks get coal, but ... but ... iron? What exactly does *THAT* signify?! lol! Merry Christmas, Mastodon! #IdleIktah #MerryChristmas!

Happy-making Things: ridiculously fast grocery deliveries, unlocking my first pet in #IdleIktah (he's a bighorn sheep named Rufus), unexpected new book releases (more on those in a minute), and best of all, the fact that I'm only working 2 more days this week, and 6.5 days after that! Hope you've all had a terrific Tuesday.

I've started a guide for #IdleIktah over on my Youtube channel. Episode 1 is up now at https://youtu.be/2nmZtME77OE?si=Hsw1E-n5rKkXCxDv. For those who are not familiar with the game, Idle Iktah is an RPG with all kinds of skills and quests, awesome sound effects, and engaging characters.
