On my way back south, I made a point of stopping at Games and Stuff in Glen Burnie, MD, a short drive from I-95. It's perhaps my favorite #TTRPG store anywhere.
It's big, roughly the size of a small supermarket. One whole wall is dedicated to just RPGs.
There's a shelf for D&D, one for Pathfinder, and several shelves for other indie games.
There are three spinner racks for RPG zines, nicely organized by type.
There are also a few shelves of used games, at fairly reasonable prices.
If you're anywhere near Baltimore, worth a visit.

I'm a little sad to see some of the changes, mostly out of pure nostalgia. This place was mostly unchanged from the 70s. The Strategist was essentially CBGBs for nerds.I completely understand why they did it. The Strat's a business, not a museum, and I hope it keeps them open longer.

A lot of the glass cases are now filled with older, more collectible RPG stuff. There are signs saying Not For Sale on most of them. Not sure if that's temporary or not.

The ancient bowed wooden shelves are still there, but it looks like they've gotten rid of a lot of the old books that presumably never sold. They still have all of the newer RPGs. I picked up a few items myself.

Trying out a FLGS not too far from me - Two Fairies and a Dwarf in #Florida. Small, but a decent collection of non-D&D RPGs.
Best of all, they had a spinner rack full of Free RPG Day games. Didn't get too greedy and only got four.

Instead, they've called a Hail Mary and are moving to a new location with over three times the space and Big Plans. Hell, yeah! Bought a $100 gift certificate to show support.

Having visited Petrie’s and Gamers Haven, I checked out Yellow King in #ColoradoSprings, due to a recommendation by a guy in Petrie’s after I told him I was looking for #OSR games.
I hit Paydirt! This would definitely be one of, if not the store for me. I walked in and felt at home. The store is crammed with goodies; the type of place you could go to every week and find something you had overlooked before.
I felt a bit like Harry Potter entering Olivander’s. Awesome.1/x
