Trying out a FLGS not too far from me - Two Fairies and a Dwarf in #Florida. Small, but a decent collection of non-D&D RPGs.

Best of all, they had a spinner rack full of Free RPG Day games. Didn't get too greedy and only got four.

Talked to the owner of my local, small-town game store today. They've had some struggles (a car drove through the front of their store last year and they were boarded up all summer) and the Trump-chaos and uncertainty had them thinking about shutting down. Instead, they've called a Hail Mary and are moving to a new location with over three times the space and Big Plans. Hell, yeah! Bought a $100 gift certificate to show support.

Having visited Petrie’s and Gamers Haven, I checked out Yellow King in #ColoradoSprings, due to a recommendation by a guy in Petrie’s after I told him I was looking for #OSR games.

I hit Paydirt! This would definitely be one of, if not the store for me. I walked in and felt at home. The store is crammed with goodies; the type of place you could go to every week and find something you had overlooked before.
I felt a bit like Harry Potter entering Olivander’s. Awesome.

The Compleat Strategist in King of Prussia, PA
I've been here a few times. It's similar to the NYC flagship store in terms of selection - most popular new RPGS and a lot of old odds and ends in stock, but it actually has floor space so you can move about and browse comfortably.

Six Feet Under Games in Gap, PA
First time visiting this one. It has a fairly impressive aisle of RPG games. Including a surprising amount of vintage RPG stuff. Most of TSR's old AD&D modules, some Judge's Guild stuff, and a lot more. The prices seemed reasonable. Fought the urge to buy all of the old TSR Lankhmar stuff.

It also has most modern RPGs as well.

While traveling back from TravellerCon, I checked out some of the RPG stores in Eastern PA. They're all worth a visit if you're in the area.

I'm only discussing the RPG parts of the store, though all have the Warhammer, paints, and board games sections as well.

Formerly Pegasus Books
This is a small store in the middle of downtown Lancaster. It's a small space, but it's got a surprisingly wide selection of RPG stuff, including a lot of solo RPGs, OSR & indie RPG zines. More stores should carry zine games.

Picked up a few small games.

Note that this store isn't particularly handicap-accessible. The only entrance is a steep winding staircase.
