#GBStudio maker chrismaltby releases standalone web #chiptune music tracker for #GameBoy with improvements, offline and midi input. It is #hugedriver format.

For music drivers in #gbcompo25, #hugedriver is heavily preferred now but about ~12% of people still use #gbtplayer.

The only other music driver showing this time is #GBMod.

For SFX drivers #VGM2GBSFX has almost the entire share.

Patched the latest #hUGEDriver (6.1.1) for #MegaDuck. So now there is an updated music driver (in addition to old uncap compression one).

Did some (almost) synchronized per channel listening on hardware between #GameBoy and Duck and to my non-musical ear they sound similar enough that I think it's good to go.

Its a bit hard to tell that they're both running at the same time, which is good. 😄

The song is the example included in hUGEDriver.

For music drivers in #gbcompo23, #hugedriver has easily overtaken #gbtplayer, but gbt is hanging in more than might be expected given the improved workflow and output hUGEDriver has.

No showings for #devsound and #gbsoundsystem this time.

#hUGEDriver use way up in 2023 (Green chart) compared to last year (Blue chart).

#gbtplayer is hanging in, but declined a lot compared to 2022 when it was a bit above hUGEDriver.

#DevSound Lite makes an appearance :)
