  3. On #HuCardHuesday here’s “Yokai Dochuki” also known as “Tales of the Monster Path”. This is a 1988 port of an arcade platform game from a year earlier, developed & published by #Namco. The player must avoid various monsters, ghosts & demons armed only with a yoyo.

  8. On #HuCardHuesday here’s “Street Fighter II Dash Champion Edition”. This is a 1993 port of #Capcom’s incredibly famous 1992 1-on-1 fighting arcade game. Conversion duties were handled by #NEC Home Electronics Ltd. It’s a remarkably good port for the relatively humble #PCEngine.

  9. On #HuCardHuesday here’s “R-Type I”. This is a 1988 port of #Irem’s 1987 horizontally scrolling shoot-em-up, converted & published by #HudsonSoft. Despite the name, this is only the first 4 levels of the game, with later levels released as “R-Type II”.

  28. On #HuCardHuesday here’s “Crest of Wolf”. This is a 1993 Super CD-ROM2 game by #HudsonSoft & #Westone. It’s a belt scrolling beat-em-up, very much in the vein of Final Fight or Streets of Rage. It was released for #TurboGrafx in the US as “Riot Zone”.
