Dr. #GaborMaté, an #addiction expert, says the link between addiction and #trauma is a #ScientificFact. With that in mind, he says ‘it is not accidental’ that #Indigenous populations in #Canada are at a #HigherRisk of developing addictions.

Cancer patients with COVID at higher risk of death, hospitalization amid Omicron -Study from Israel finds
"Our study showed that during the Omicron-dominant period, patients with solid cancer and COVID-19 had higher mortality and hospitalization risks following COVID-19 infection vs patients without solid cancer with COVID-19, and that COVID-19 vaccination in the patients with cancer mitigated this risk."
