A tower named after an unknown individual in Iron Age Jerusalem. An Iron Age song celebrating Ammon's triumph over Moab. A royal seal from an unknown queen. Discrepancies in the chronology of 2 Kings. What does it all add up to? Check out my latest article for an interesting theory by the late Orientalist Giovanni Garbini.

From the archives: How historically accurate is the tale of Paul's sea voyage and shipwreck described in Acts 27? In this article, I delve into the text of Acts, the weather conditions of the Mediterranean, and the theology of shipwrecks in ancient belief to uncover the story's true intent.

I have a new article up where I look into the origins of the parable of the Sower in Mark 4.
