Good morning tooting friends. It was fresh & frosty morning at 6am when I got up. Zero degrees then, but the sunshine is just starting to appear in the garden as the sun rises above the hills behind my place. Heading to a lovely very pleasant 17c today.
I had planned an exercise class first up today & decided on a weights class, but after doing some online shopping searches for products I regularly buy I see they are on special, so I’m going down the street instead. I’ll also go & pay my RACV membership & insurance considering it’s less than two weeks before I leave to go to Adelaide. Another job done that I won’t have to think about again. I will go out & do some garden work today, so I guess that’s physical exercise as it involves cutting my bottle brush down to a more manageable level. Knowing me it’ll end up looking like a lollipop 🤣😂.

Good morning tooting friends. It was 0c when I woke this morning, roused by my neighbour leaving early. It’s not much better now at almost 1c & with a pretty good frost. Heading up to 13c today & it looks like it’s going to be a lovely sunny day again. I’ll be outside enjoying that sunshine a bit later & get a few more winter jobs done.
Not going anywhere today so I will do an at home exercise class. I think a Les Mills Thrive would be a good idea. I also now have another 3 meals in the freezer & could get away with not cooking for over a week - just reheating 😄. I know me though, I’ll eat a few of those meals but I’m already planning to make some pea & ham soup sometime next week 😬.
Vinnies girls breakfast tomorrow for former & current workers. Looking forward to it as it feels like such a long time since the last one.

Good morning tooters. Overcast very mild morning of 5c, heading to 16c today. The sun appeared over the hill & has disappeared into the overcast skies 🤷🏼‍♀️damnit!
I realised this morning how many items in the house beep at me. In the morning the first thing I do is put the kettle on & that’s the only click. The cooktop beeps when I unlock it to cook my eggs & beeps for each level of power I go to, it even beeps if I lift the pot off the hob without turning it off first, which is another beep anyway. The microwave beeps at me & so does my washing machine always culminating in 5 beeps when they finish.
Off to the gym this morning for my second to last session. Apart from that I’m home for the rest of the day. So #BeepBeep guys I’m off to get ready for my day.

Good morning tooters. It’s frosty again outside & has just crept past zero heading to a max of 15c - I’ll take that, it’ll be quite pleasant out in the sun this afternoon. Got to finish the chopping back of my bottle brush which may or may not include getting the ladder out - we will see.
Heading to the gym shortly, feeling the countdown to the end of this access, just one week to go. It’s actually a big week next week for me. My last approved physio appointment, my 72nd birthday, my youngest granddaughters 6th birthday & my younger sisters 67th birthday plus lunch out with a friend, culminating with dinner out with my family at the end of the week. It’s going to be a busy one!

Good morning tooters. Up bright & early again, I had stripped & remade my bed by 6am & had my linen washed & on the line by 6.30am. Mild morning again, overcast but supposed to reach 15c. As long as the washing dries I’m happy 😃.
It’s now 7.30am & I’ve just finished my breakfast, a lovely warm chia & oat porridge & a coffee. I think I may head to the gym earlier than usual today as I’m meeting a couple of friends for lunch at a tiny little very basic cafe called Yums. Small menu but pretty good simple food & great coffee, very popular with people of my age group & above.

Good morning tooting friends. Despite me saying that it probably wouldn’t rain here - it stormed all night 😄. It was a doozy too. I got up & all the windows apart from one are all wet. There’s a broken ceramic pot which fell off the little table with the resulting mess out in the back area and water came in from the gas heater chimney thing & was all over the floor 😕. It’s all sorted out now except for cleaning up outside, that can wait. Glad of the rain though, nice & fresh outside - & wet 😁. Not much planned today, except for the gym.

Good morning tooters, it’s the end of the week - here comes the weekend! Sunshine hasn’t appeared yet today but the temps will still be mild even with cloud cover. I had a few eastern Rosellas in the garden just on dawn this morning. It’s very difficult to sneak a picture of them, they’re so alert to any movement, lovely to see first thing though.
Heading to the gym this morning, my back is still feeling a little off. It’s like 2 steps forward & 1 back. Then I have a doctors’ appointment to get my knees X-ray results & the flu jab. Very interested in learning what the X-rays show, hope it’s good!

Nothing much changes over the years. Friday night in my house means fresh sheets, fresh pjs & and glass of wine with dinner - it’s the end of the working week. Except I’m retired but I still continue this because my weeks are busier than my weekends.
It’s life as I know it 😄.

Good morning tooters, what an awfully hot humid night it was here - with rain & thank goodness for ceiling fans. Beautiful & cool this morning & heading to an ok 30c. Everything outside is nice, damp & fresh feeling. I have to hang around home as the gas people are coming this morning to check my gas appliances, something the CHL organise yearly. So I was up showered & dressed before 7am. Now I’m just waiting for them, but as it’s so lovely outside I might do a little gardening while I can.

Good morning friends. It’s cool, breezy but sunny out & I’m going to head out for a morning walk. I seem to be only managing one walk a week lately. During the covid lockdowns I was walking at least three days a week, strange times as it was always so very quiet & I rarely came across anyone else. I do get other exercise but I do love my walks.
