But the winner of the coziness contest is definitely the red panda. Each time. Absolutely blissfully sleeping 10 meters high above the ground. And looking cute in the process.

Only took around four hours to get some interesting photos of them. Most of the cute interactions I could only watch because the glass was frosted and they were too close rolling around in the snow.
Also for some reason my main account server seems to be broken, so can only post this on the cozy place. :blobfoxarcticsnug:

Two more photos from our visit to the #zoo recently. We discovered this #weasel as it was running and jumping around, even attacking a crow.
Later it was jumping and diving in dry leafs ... only to return shortly after with a dead mouse. We unknowingly witnessed a hunt!
We've never seen a weasel for so long - and also never hunting. - Seems we were quite lucky this day.

Leggies never seem to mind the heat. They are surprisingly active in scorching sun. At least the young ones. The parents were melting under large bush as usual.
Unfortunately they come so close in Munich that they sometimes go under the minimum focus distance of my lens. And also fill more than the frame. Their enclosure turning into a jungle doesn't help either.

Today it's too warm and headache weather. Have some red pandas, they seem to like it.
I always find them cute climbing around on their tree and observing the humans 10m below.

🐘 Auf Empfehlung des Europäischen Erhaltungszuchtprogramms (EEP) wurde Elefantendame Panang kürzlich in die 🇨🇭 umgesiedelt, um dort im Zoo #Zürich wieder mit ihrer Mutter u. Schwester vereint zu leben. Zuvor stand noch ein Zollbesuch im Tierpark #Hellabrunn an.
Für die Ausfuhrabfertigung und die Prüfung der #Artenschutz-Papiere bedurfte es einer Identitätskontrolle. Natürlich stressarm im gewohnten Umfeld u. mit früher Abstimmung zwischen Tierpark u. Zoll. 🤝
