Eine Binse, jetzt mal wieder statistisch unterfüttert.
"In Deutschland leben rund 1,8 Millionen Millionäre, elf Prozent mehr als noch vor einem Jahr. Ihr Vermögen wuchs sogar um 12,7 Prozent und damit deutlich schneller als das der Reichen weltweit, das im Schnitt 8,7 Prozent zulegte.", so das Handelsblatt am Freitag.
Noch eine Zahl gefällig? "Allein 2023 wechselten in 26 Fällen rund sechs Milliarden Euro den Besitzer, die effektive Steuer lag bei 0,1 Prozent." und zuletzt noch das hier "Statt der fälligen Steuer von 7,83 Milliarden Euro wurden 465 Millionen gezahlt".
Die Reallöhne der Arbeiter:innen und Angestellten stagnieren übrigens auf dem Stand von 2019.
Alle wissen das- und dennoch passiert genau nichts!

Later that Wednesday, I interviewed Sönke Iwersen, head of investigative research at Handelsblatt, about that German newspaper’s groundbreaking reporting on Tesla’s secretive and often careless approach to safety. Iwersen brought up a part of this story that hadn’t emerged in my pre-conference banter over e-mail with him: the steep personal price the paper’s informant has paid.

A hold late in the countdown pushed the second launch of New Glenn to around dinnertime in Lisbon. So I didn’t get to watch any part of this mission on a screen larger than my phone’s until after I got back to my hotel–with fewer hours left than I would have liked before I had to head to Lisbon’s airport to fly back to the States.

After 6 months of analysis of the massive dataleak at #Tesla in Europe two topics emerge:
1) a possible failure to comply with data protection rules #GDPR. If such a violation was proved, Tesla could be fined up to 3.26 billion euros....
2) the data "paints the picture of an electric car pioneer that seems to have far greater technological problems than previously known". For example, with its "#Autopilot".
