for anyone that happens to use gshade, you're gonna want to switch to reshade, doing something like using this guide:

the summary: the gshade developer, who made a closed source fork of an open source shader tool, got in a fight with a teenager because said teenager made open source tools for downloading shader presets and patching gshade. this developer got SO mad at a teenager that they put actual factual malware in gshade, and then made downloads unavailable, and then got banned from GitHub.

Finished swapping over from Gshade to Reshade.
I don't care that they claim the update fixes the shady things they did. The trust is completely broken now.

Apparently stuff is going on with #GShade, a program I used in the past to take some really nice #VideoGame screenshots, including #PanzerDragoonRemake. In the latest version, it will automatically restart your computer if you tamper it. The version I have is from last year, but still. The GShade dev who added that feature may also have committed a crime by doing this.
