Since you love #chocobo, putting this one up for you! A friend of mine sent me the meme below. In response, I put three of my characters' chocobos in the same exact position to replicate the picture exactly.
Because if any bird deserves to be called a dinosaur, it's the honorable chocobo. 😝
I was very proud and gave my friend, who also loves chocobos, many happies.
P.S. The chocobo in the far back with the black hood is Rocket. The blue chocobo in silver armor is Aldis, Rocket's grandfather (but not this Rocket, the other baby Rocket from the current timeline XD ) and Rime's father. 😊

Four years ago, #Maxx #Kisne traveled back in time 19 years, to our timeline, in order to save our star. All he brought with him were his clothes, his weapons, and his trusty #chocobo #Rocket.
In #FFXIVRP terms, this is backstory, and Rocket has been with us now for the better part of four years of RP.
Today, one of #Joan's chocobos, #Rime, gave birth to a brood of chocobo chicks that includes #LJ's brand newborn baby chocobo, whom she has named Rocket because "he boo and he go fast!" Which I suppose are fine reasons to name someone Rocket to a three-year-old, I suppose. 😂
The picture of the adult man and the giant blue chocobo are Maxx and Rocket in the present (and they're about 19 years ahead of us in terms of their age and maturity). The picture of Joan and LJ with the two chocobos, where it's the little chick that's blue? That's LJ (Maxx's current timeline variant) with baby Rocket. 💙

I haven't caught anyone here up on what's been going on in my #FFXIVRP in a while, and maybe I ought to do that.
It's so much! We just wrapped up Season 1 of our Machine War saga two months ago, and we're on the second episode of Season 2 now. We've introduced #Accord, who we discovered was stuck inside of the Fruit of the Protector in the Rak'tika Greatwood since the First Machine War thousands of years ago.
In our Season 1 finale, my son--who went by #Lily but now goes by his new middle name #Maxx--transitioned and also finally graduated from the #Studium as an #Archon! He chose to have his archon tattoo placed on his right cheek, just like his favorite professor #Urianger (for those who don't know, Maxx is from the future, so the Urianger we know and love has only recently met him). Maxx lovingly calls him Prof Uri, and yes, he can speak like Urianger does, even though he only does it for the lulz.
#Noah--the heart of the primal #Metatron and Maxx's twin from his own timeline--came to ours for the final episodes of Season 1 too, and he nearly destroyed the star and claimed our #Lifestream for his own. But at the last moment, we were able to stop him with the help of #Golbez, #Zero, Urianger, and #Thancred. We kinda broke the #Ragnarok doing it. Sorry about that. But don't worry. They'll have it fixed by the time 7.1 comes out.
When Metatron died, #Joan soaked up much of his aether and became insanely overpowered. Mostly, so far, it's been little more than an annoyance. Especially since it's begun to make her and her family/friends a primary target for the Watchers, who have now arrived on the Source and are causing trouble. Right now, our biggest problem is the Watcher named #Zophiel, who seems very determined to take us out.
And while that's a lot of information, it barely scratches the surface of all that's happened. So I'll come back more often and let you all know how things are going.

It's #Majestic #Manderville time, part six!! For the very last time since these came out in 6.45!
The last set of four #relic weapons for my non-favorite and I-don't-really-play-them-that-often jobs have been acquired: #Gunbreaker, #Ninja, #Astrologian, and #Scholar.
The gunbreaker's #bayonet is intense and looks like something straight out of science fiction. (Which makes sense, considering the theoretical origin of these weapons.)
The ninja's #knives are so colorful and elegant! I once knew someone who said that glowing knives were strange for ninjas to carry since they weren't very stealthy. That still makes me laugh sometimes. And I still love the glowy knives best of all.
The astrologian's #orrery is pretty. It almost looks angelic as it glows above your hand.
The scholar's #codex is a book. The seraph is my favorite part of scholar, but it's a job I literally never play. 😅
And now we wait until 6.55 for the final Manderville weapon step!

It's #Majestic #Manderville time, part five!! And I've still got some time before 6.55! So here we go again for the penultimate time.
The second-to-last set of three #relic weapons for my non-favorite and I-don't-really-play-them-that-often jobs have been acquired: #Bard, #Warrior, and #Dark #Knight.
The bard's #harp #bow is beautiful. The #arrow in use is a little thick around the shaft, but that's OK. I do love all the feathers on the bow, and the metal looks super shiny!
The dark knight's #greatsword looks great. It's so dark, and I love everything about its sharp edges and blade's design.
The warrior's #bardiche looks pretty badass too. It looks nothing like an actual bardiche, since a bardiche is actually a #polearm that only looks like an #axe, but it still looks great. It looks like it's on fire! If I were as mad as a warrior becomes in battle, this is exactly the kind of weapon I'd love to swing around.
