My neighbour has butchered the hedge between our houses. It's never been this low before. They can now see right into our house from their back garden. And it's a very, very badly hacked hedge, No straight lines in sight, he's just gone bananas with his hedge trimmer.
Flipping pissed off, to say the least.
We know they hate hedges anyway because one of the first things they did when they moved in (several years ago) was to have all the beautiful hedges that were around the other side of their property removed and replaced with a wall. It was a sad day, not least for the wildlife that used to live there.
They haven't been brave enough to speak to us about the hedge between our properties... preferring instead to hack it to pieces, it seems.
Makes you wonder why city folk would move to the country if all they want to do is destroy the nature around them! 🤬
