Wird alles gehen?! Nur schnelle Antwort auf Nachricht ist raus. Und ggf Tesla App (ginge mit neuerer AppleWatch bei mir) wohl eher nicht möglich.

  2. More than 10 years of using #Pebble Time - now there is finally a successor.
Incredible, how good the old one is still looking today!

  12. @norbert You don't need a #pebble app. Just install #gadgetbridge and enjoy all your wearables in one app! I've been using Gadgetbridge with Pebble watches long before Core Devices came along. And it's working perfectly with current watches too. It's available on #fdroid too!

Pro tip: Use the nightly repo.

  17. I like the little charging dongle for the Pebble Time 2. However, it is rather small and so I was worrying that it would be so easy to lose/misplace. For those of us that had/have a Pebble Time (and maybe other versions), the charging cable for that older watch also works on the Time 2. Reassuring! I can sleep easy now.

  18. well it took longer than originally expected (by only 5 months or something), but my #PebbleTime2 by #Pebble has arrived and I love it already. It really does remind me of my old pebble, and it just feels right. Super stoked it's back.

  19. RE: infosec.exchange/@ghm/11659748

So nice to see my #Pebble watchface designs on a real watch, while I am still waiting for my own PT2 to be shipped.

  20. Just received the #Pebble Time 2.

First impressions are great; easy onboarding, and looks fantastic - love the Quartz watch face!

  21. Oh, this is frustrating! My Pebble Time 2 has been delivered a day early. I have too many things to do before I can open the boxes. 🫣

    edit: fixed alternate text.

  22. @monotux thanks for the tip 🙂 (or: reminder... IIRC I stumbled upon #smallstep after reading @jwildeboer writing about step-ca and forgot to test it).

For the Molecule Continuous Integration embedded in my #Ansible #acmesh collection, pebble was/is charming as it is *really really really* simple to setup and small.

But I will consider replacing #pebble with smallstep, as it would let me gain Smallstep experience that I could potentially reuse for other (production) use cases.

  25. Trading the Galaxy Watch8 for a Core Pebble Time 2.

After years of “standalone” features that were just too clunky to use, I am moving back to the open ecosystem that started it all. Why?

    - 30-day battery (estimated) vs. 30 hours
    - No more charger-hunting
    - Digital sovereignty & ease of dev
    - Physical buttons for the win

It is time to stop charging the watch every night and get back to basics. ⌚️🔓

  30. Just finalised my #pebble time 2

    repebble.com/blog/pebble-time-

Can't wait to sell my Ticwatch Pro 5 watch which hasn't had a update in 1.5 years and a battery which lasts just about a day (making it a pain for sleep tracking)

  35. So I pre-ordered a new #Pebble watch late last year, and finally got the confirmation email. They want *more* now??

I guess they are adding duty & tax :/
