Pebble Round 2 smartwatch has entered production, with all outstanding pre-orders expected to arrive by the end of the year. It has a better display than the original Round, and a touchscreen. Software is still a work in progress though, and it's less water resistant than other Pebble watches. https://repebble.com/blog/pebble-round-2-starts-shipping#pebble-round-2-is-in-production #PebbleRound2 #Pebble #Smartwatch

I recently got annoyed at my #AppleWatch. It started with watchOS 27 not supporting my Series 8, then didn’t get better with the constantly-recording nonsense of the Series 12. So I started really considering what I use my watch for and what I actually want out of it.

That all culminated in me ordering a #Pebble Round 2…

They only just started shipping the first units and I just ordered mine last week, so I don’t expect to get it any time soon, but I’ve been playing with their SDK while I wait. Specifically with Alloy, their JavaScript SDK. It’s rough (and the docs are lacking), but I’ve been having way too much fun making watch faces. I’m up to 3 so far.

Finally: #Pebble Round 2 is in production: https://repebble.com/blog/pebble-round-2-starts-shipping#pebble-round-2-is-in-production

I preordered in April, looks like I will get a new watch for christmas.

It's about time: My #SkagenJorn is slowly dying. This is how I must charge it currently.
