The annual GNU Radio conference has been live-streaming, and keeping an archive of, the talks happening in person for many years.
This is for free to the viewer, financed from registration fees and sponsorships; professional A/V equipment isn't cheap, and while #GRCon is 100% volunteer-organized, there are some things (rentals, sound and light setup, a fixed-line internet access etc) that aren't free.
You can pay-as-much-you-want register for online viewing for support! -

Of course, this misses 0 samples, ca compute a huuuge (we saw 2²⁰) FFT, draws every transform on the screen, etc.
@dkozel has let us in on the fact that there will be a commercial demo at #GRCon's booth area that does some very fancy real time classification, too, but to see that, I'm afraid you'd actually have to come to Raleigh :-)

I asked #craiyon to produce an image with #Captain #BenjaminSisko as a #hamradio operator on the #holodeck for my #GRcon keynote and it just couldn't do it! I tried at least a dozen times and I even threw the reference image below at it but it still consistently produced images of #whitemen as #hams or #startrek captains. If #AI is the future, it sure looks like the past. #inclusion #whitesupremacy #dei #afrofuture #BlackMastodon
