Heya! Reminder, because we are *exactly* the same:
If you're presenting at #GRCon26, now is a good time to start doing your slides, so you can very comfortably actually do them on your journey to #Raleigh in less than two weeks!
And: don't forget to upload them to the conference management system; people *do* re-read them after your presentation, and you're saving an MC a lot of cardiac anomalies if they are in a place that can be accessed! -
Reminder: If you're attending #GRCon26 in Raleigh, NC, USA (2026-09-21…2026-09-24), as you well should, you can take the exam needed to become a #licensed #amateur #radio operator.
"#Ham operators" enjoy a lot of spectrum privileges, and the US license can be transferred to many legislations!

Lately, @dkozel has been working an ngscopeclient-based visualization frontend with support of annotations, an SigMF source block, and the necessary plumbing into GNU Radio 4 blocks.
It does 2 GS/s, which is insane (Derek will need a bigger SDR).
He promises to make even bigger waves with his demo at #GRCon26.We're on the ~14daily #GNURadio4 technical user&devs call. If you're interested in high-rate DSP, and want to learn about, influence or contribute to GR4, that's the place to be!

The annual GNU Radio Conference has a proud tradition of offering #ham exams during the conference! One half-day, there's an examiner team, allowing you to get #hamradio licensed in the US.
At this year's #GRCon26 , that is slanted to take place on Thursday afternoon.So, honestly, if you have a solid background in radio technology, you might start preparing for the exam during your journey to #Raleigh, and do the exam straight away. So did many before you!

#GRCon26 happening in Raleigh, North Carolina is shaping up: Here's an overview of the timeline! Monday is a hands-on, new-users-get-help, and workshops day. Tuesday through Thursday have talks, more workshops, an Expo hall and a very popular #RF #ctf.
On Friday, and this might be an industry first, you can take part in a rather intimate tour of the AERPAW facility (https://aerpaw.org/), which combines cellular/RF research with flying machines.
