The Wieliczka salt mine has been in operation since Neolithic times. There's a gorgeous chapel carved out in the 19th century. But perhaps my favorite part - at the entrance, there's a Communist-era (check out that heroic modernism!) monument to #Copernicus carved out of salt. (Photo in next toot)
