QoL improvements for #Clav: Pull to sync, wait for key when copying a secret, sync with remote and update credentials.

I see myself releasing in the next few days. The code will be published under #gpl3orlater. I'm looking for a logo!

I set out last week to replace my #passwordmanager #gopass. My requirements: keys live on my #yubikey, unlocking one secret doesn't expose the whole vault, native #Wayland UX, per secret fingerprint/pin policy.

Survey: severely lacking. I was not looking for a project, but the #linux desktop really needs this.

To stay motivated I raised the bar: native #cosmic and #android too, learning #slint on the way. Not a webview. Secrets done right: constant-time and zeroized.

Now we're cooking on gas!

Other folks in cities that use #GoPass should be aware of this problem because it can happen to you, too.

I got Deutsche Bahn'd twice today by #MetroLink thanks to #GoPass sucking out loud. Walking time predictions assume traffic signals cooperate, which means they're short even for a fast walker going downhill (like me, on my way to the bus stops), but then told me to get off at a closed stop. It also told me to get on after work at a closed stop and there's no sign at that stop to indicate that it's closed. 0/3 with transit and this new job.

The program is available to students at more than 1,600 participating K-12 and community colleges across 125 school districts,

@parkr I can recommend #gopass (https://www.gopass.pw/). Keeps all passwords in a Git repo secured through standard GPG. Easy to setup, sync and share if needed. Has also a client for Android if need. Not sure about iOS though.

docker credentials managed in a gopass repo with docker-credential-pass as part of the docker-credential-helpers repo.

I am fully 100% now migrated to #nyxt The #Hacker Power #Browser https://nyxt.atlas.engineer/ I migrated all my bitwarden creds to #gopass and did personal customizations and this is were #nyxt is amazing it checks all my boxes and yes it does #vim or #emacs keys originally not plugins other browsers have. It does have a bit of a learning curve nothing bad for any real hacker, also using their beta 3.x I love using beta help with code and bug reports. I recomend using 3.x #HappyHacking
