@macberg Maybe give Gaphor a try?
(I pitch it as "Notepad for models" for rapidly making a design and haven't used it for complex systems.)

Mareike Keil of the University of Mannheim published her article “NEST‑UX: Neurodivergent and Neurotypical Style Guide for Enhanced User Experience”.
The paper explores how user interfaces can be designed to be accessible for both neurotypical and neurodivergent users, including people with autism, ADHD or giftedness. The #Gaphor team worked together with Mareike to implement suggestions she found during her research, allowing us to test how well these ideas work in practice.

I spent half an hour getting #gaphor installed, then realized it didn't support sysML 2.0 yet. This is on me.

Tomorrow at 17:15 I'll be presenting Gaphor, a free and open source tool for model based systems engineering, at #FOSDEM. The talk is in the "Tool the Docs" track so I'll be paying extra attention to the integration of #Gaphor with different documentation tools. It feels very UNIXy, a small tool that easily integrates with other tools to great effect. If you can't attend there's will be a live stream available here: https://fosdem.org/2024/schedule/event/fosdem-2024-2542-drop-the-docs-and-embrace-the-model-with-gaphor/

#Gaphor is a diagram modeler.
Gaphor is a modeler for UML, SysML, C4, and RAAML diagrams, with full support for all of UML 2's components. Gaphor features a flexible styling system which allows for diagrams to be customized using CSS. Gaphor can be integrated with #Sphinx, allowing for diagrams to be easily included in documentation.
