I love RSS feeds. One of them that came out yesterday, but I just read today, is from Geoff Engelstein on his GameTek substack, ostensibly about game design, but broadly applicable to life.
We have many phrases about the need to uncomplicate things. Less is more. Keep it simple, stupid. Stop while you're ahead.
But when we're presented with a problem or feel a need to improve something, we usually end up adding stuff instead of removing it.
