Lots of grey plastic in this one — hastily constructed Phobos vs. Blades of Khaine. A hilarious bloodbath of a game, thoroughly recommend this matchup of two teams where every activation ruins someone’s day.

Spent last weekend building / roughly painting the #Gallowdark terrain that's been on the shelf for months, for a #KillTeam game this weekend. Was a great game – my Bone Brigade AoD against the Legionaries the boy built last week. Really swingy and brutal – the close quarters environment makes for a very different game, and obviously we bought very different versions of these teams.

(Also spent a good chunk of last week printing an alternate version of this terrain, with magnets for quick assembly – a decision that seems absolutely justified after it took me an hour to set up this simple layout..)

Finally finished my #KillTeam #Gallowdark terrain. Man that took a long time. In retrospect I painted in a lot of detail, much of which got covered up at the weathering stage. Lesson learned: if I'm going to be applying loads of rust, do that first and then add detail to areas that are still rust-free (at least on terrain)!

Drybrushed Ushabti Bone then washed "Nuln Oil" (i.e. a mix of Indian Ink, matt medium, water and a drop of washing up liquid) on over the grey zenithal.

Blocked-in the Sybarite Green on pipes and tanks. They will get a wash of Athonian Camoshade next.

@RevJohn okay, that's really good to here! My group are planning some #Gallowdark action for some time early next year, so I will definitely be trying it. 😁

I've been working on some kitbashed Gallowdark tiles based on multiples of 60mm squares. Most tiles are 180x180mm. Twelve 180mm square tiles laidnout 3x4 is roughly the same size as a Kill Team board.

3 tiles are now finished (maybe? I might add more details later!)

3 more are detailed and textured, and ready for undercoating.
