Calling these three done. A Blood Angels Librarian from Space Hulk, Bob the Berzerker (Blood Claw based on a favourite mini I had in second edition) and a lineman in a weird colour scheme I wanted to try based on the Hoonigan Brataroo car.

I also tried weathering pencils for the first time tonight and I can see how useful they can be in specific use cases.

I fancied painting a deep red Blood Angel but realised I’d only primed the librarian so far, so mostly blue it is.

Lots of grey plastic in this one — hastily constructed Phobos vs. Blades of Khaine. A hilarious bloodbath of a game, thoroughly recommend this matchup of two teams where every activation ruins someone’s day.

Spent last weekend building / roughly painting the #Gallowdark terrain that's been on the shelf for months, for a #KillTeam game this weekend. Was a great game – my Bone Brigade AoD against the Legionaries the boy built last week. Really swingy and brutal – the close quarters environment makes for a very different game, and obviously we bought very different versions of these teams.

(Also spent a good chunk of last week printing an alternate version of this terrain, with magnets for quick assembly – a decision that seems absolutely justified after it took me an hour to set up this simple layout..)

Of course the first problem with my Genestealer Cult expansion idea is I don’t know where my space hulk genestealers are. I found the game and the terminators. So that’s progress. And I know a section of the garage they aren’t in. 😅

#spacehulk bloody hell, you can't find the Deathwing expansion under £200. I think I used to have it as I still have some of the models.

More #spacehulk this evening. I’d played well on mission 2 as marines but ultimately failed. Henry worked out a far better strategy on his turn as marines and destroyed me. That’s 1:0 to him so far. He’s loving it so expect more updates.

Packing for a few days off. Lots of geeky stuff: #DnD and #CyberpunkRED books, #SpaceHulk (so I can remember how to play the game), #DragonBane boxed set (so I can learn the game, and play the solo adventure), and a ton of movies for #MonsterWeek (yeah, it's coming back ... eventually).
