I am very happy to announce that I was able to recover a full backup of all the (lost) data from the german #furry anthology Anthrologie.

#WordWeavers day 12 - have you ever wanted to give up writing? what helped you continue?

Yes. For a few years, I basically gave up on it. I decided that I wanted to go 'the next level' and be a 'real writer' and needed to write to sell stuff and try to make money from it.

It instantly made me give up. What was the point? There was a big gap between where I was, and that hypothetical.

That was stupid to do. It was stupid for me to do it and it's stupid for you to do it too. You're not stupid; giving up because you compared yourself to someone, thing, or idea is stupid.

Once I decided that one of my values as a person is being creative and expressing myself, suddenly, I wanted to write again, and have been.

#WritersCoffeeClub 22: would you consider collaborating on a book?

Holy crap yes. I'm not entirely sure I can handle actually finishing a whole novel-length something and yet I have all these big extensive ideas that just beg for either a full fleshed out series arc or an actual novel.

I don't know if I need co-writing or editing or both or just an accountabilibuddy or what.

#WritingWonders 30 - have you planned to kill off a character and reversed it?

Not really, But.

In my current story series, I'm taking my fursona character Hawk and putting him into the future for a Space Adventure. I decided to also pull along some characters I really liked writing, and also intentionally left some others behind (even if I liked writing them.) The reason they were 'left behind' involves them having been killed, and even if they weren’t actively killed, they ceased to exist (in a 'dimension disappeared' way.)

One of the early pivotal characters in my Hawk stories, the maned wolf Alzarre, notably is in the first two parts of the new series and then is mentioned to have died in a cryo-preservation failure.

Readers who have said something about it have universally said, “awww, I wanted to see him in stuff.” So I regret it a bit.

Buck/Xyrex, space pirate and MC's half-brother from Alternate Earth: “I get to live, for free, in a theme-park-style emulation of a pirate's cove and trading port, on a space station where I can snap my fingers and I'll get a new building built or destroyed, and my spaceship is parked right out in front of my house. What DON'T I like about that!"

#WritingWonders 8/23: MC's biggest mistake?

Hawk: “Turning a human guy into a deer guy. I know I've killed people since I got to this space future and all that, but this is different. This was back on Earth. He was nuts. He wanted to be abused by wolves for a convoluted reason. Eventually, it became obvious he wanted to be turned into prey for wolves. And what more iconic wolf prey than a deer? So I did it with the help of a friend. It didn't help him. It didn't help me. And it feels like it's beyond the pale..."
