@t54r4n1 we've got some experience, but also most our trees are either in pots or in the ground in our greenhouse, so even if we lose 100% of the outside trees it's not the end of the world. We will probably only protect a few of the ~30 trees planted in the ground outside. Here are some types of #FrostProtection we've used in the past, feel free to add to the list!
• incandescent string lights
• tree covers (or tarps for large trees, buckets for small ones)
• heat lamps pointed at the roots
• if dry, deep watering (soil is already saturated here now)Some tricks used for #citrus do *not* seem to work as well for #avocado, such as spraying with water to form an ice layer.
