Looking to replay the Pokemon Gen 4 games? There's a way to uncap their FPS to make battles way quicker, and also potentially speedup overworld traversal a bit as well!
The video description in this video here contains the bigger details, but basically with an Action Replay or a ROM edit you can remove the frame rate cap. They will technically run faster than normal but at least if you disliked how slow Gen 4 felt, then this should feel much closer to the ideal speed for you!

Random fun fact:
The Nintendo DS, as well as the 3DS, in GBA BC mode (normally only reserved for the "VC" GBA games that were exclusive to 3DS ambassadors) runs GBA games at a microscopically lower frame rate than the actual GBA, or 0.12% slower. That's about a second of difference every 14 minutes.
The DS and later divide their clock speeds in DS (not DSi) mode by half to achieve GBA mode speeds. It doesn't cleanly stick to the same exact speed in MHz as the original GBA, being a tiny bit lower.

Absolutely loving the #humor so far. It has been #hilarious and quite fun to play. Has some small issues, which will be detailed in our review, but they don’t hold a candle to the #game.
#Framerate at 40 #FPS does hold out in the most important parts!

#Crysis #Remastered is a remaster of the high #intensity #FPS game that created an entire #benchmark question around it. It’s a physics-heavy #sandbox that oozes fun.
And the #shooter runs surprisingly well on the #SteamDeck. A #framerate of 40 feels #smooth and #stable while keeping battery around 3 hours. There’s still more testing for our full review, which will include 2 different builds, but so far, we are #impressed.

Sunday Gold is a #PointAndClick #game, with #TurnBased #combat and #RPG mechanics thrown in, all wrapped in a #gorgeous #visual style that I love. Personally, I absolutely adore the art direction and #gameplay.
On #SteamDeck the game runs really well without any changes needed other than #framerate. This would be a #BestOnDeck game, but unfortunately, lack of native #controller support and #small #text hold it back.
