Btw, I made a new icon for flowvi.be

The WWDC edition of Flowvi.be is on the way, hoping for a smooth review πββ¬!
Next up is Android π

Oh look, @lightbeaminsight and I are nerding out about gizmos, lights, music and vibes ... coming soon

All the devops-ing in the last few days has been to get to this setup. A lot of focus on performance, sorting out some shortcuts I took for v1 of the app but as things are expanding, it's become very needed to be able to deploy new instances in new regions quickly.

Working on a new way to change the length of a playlist in https://flowvi.be
It used to be a slider, but then I thought... why try to limit people about how long their playlists should be

Okay, so I'm running out of runway to try and keep-up with Spotify's hostility towards apps
At this point, there is no viable alternative other than importing their absolute shit SDK so I think I'm just going to drop Spotify support all together.
Also, apparently I need to have 250K MAUs to apply for a production API token which is ... lol.

Trying out the bunny video streaming service for embedding videos into the website. Itβs quite affordable and easy to replicate at the edge to all the places https://flowvi.be/posts/import-spotify-tidal-soundcloud-playlists/

A couple of folks asked me about the name of rhe app and how I came up with it so I decided to write a post about it https://flowvi.be/posts/the-app-is-called-flowvibe/
There is a cool PS3 throwback here, if you remember that game Detroit: Becoming Human

I had some free time during the weekend to make progress on the desktop version of https://flowvi.be :catjam:
I'm starting to get into the GTK/libadwaita mindset of things. Also realized if I keep a tidy project structure I can easily switch to Qt or something else later on so that's nice.
Big things have small beginnings ;)

While working on the next version of https://flowvi.be, I stumbled on the Color.gradient API - combined with some materials ... I honestly canβt get enough of it π

Self-promo time :)
My app flowvi.be uses a deterministic scoring engine on-device to rank tracks from your library and stitch them into a playlisthttps://flowvi.be/posts/creating-a-mood-playlist-without-ai/

By the way, the "todo" tabs are part of my WoW for @flowvibe In short:
- A folder per release
- A note for todos per release
- A note for bugs to make it easier to prioritise with new features.
- Sometimes a separate note for features that require research / deep thinking.Since Obsidian notes are simple text files on disk, I have them all sync to my remarkable so I can doodle over them in bed when I have a new idea :)

@flowvibe support for importing playlists from other services is almost ready!
There was quite a bit of work under the hood to support all that but overall I think it will be a good update. Version 1.4 coming soon!

It's funny, every time I post a reel with some new Flowvi.be feature, Spotify announces it a few days later π
I'm sure it's totally a coincidence but mine is still better because it's made by me π€© and strangely enough, my app supports a lot more than Spanish!
Understanding lyrics is not an easy thing to do at all. Flowvi.be can capture general topics and moods while generating the playlist on device.
