Currently listening to ... #FatimaMansions 1990 album Viva Dead Ponies.Its an interesting album, in that it very much staddles the electro 80s sound and maudlin 90s indie sound, but mixes them together in a satisfying way.

Absolutely gutted to hear this. Cathal wasn't just a hugely talented musician and a lovely man, he was also a personal friend although we sadly lost touch over the last 6 or 7 years.
I really can't say more than Tim Burgess (The Charlatans) tweeted: "His brilliant songs remain. Play them loud and remember him."
