This is a bottom of the bags blend of three pretty serious 2022 Sun Dried Red Assamica teas. Red Wine from Pu-Erh.sk, Jingmai Red #2 from Farmer-Leaf, and a smidge of Schedule Red from White2Tea. Zim, zam, zoom; speeding into the weekend.

I was looking around last night for something interesting to drink and noticed this "Jing Mai 2004" (raw puerh) from Farmer Leaf. I don't know any details about this tea beyond that it seems to have been included with another order as a bonus (I think maybe after one of my orders disappeared in transit). Farmer Leaf's first incarnation didn't exist until 2011, so it can't really be a 'Farmer Leaf" tea. However, William's in-laws were in the tea business in Jing Mai prior to 2011, so perhaps a find in the family warehouse. Fairly strong storage character, mild bitterness, and soft tea flavor would be how I would describe the flavor. Energy is chest centered, clean, and relaxing.
