Letzte Packung angebrochen und Nachschub bestellt. Fühlt sich immer großartig an, tut im Portemonie zwar weh aber ist trotzdem ein gutes Gefühl. Weil ich dann wieder "LANGE" auskomme und keine Bricks für den daily use nutzen muss.

Da fällt mir eine daß ich neue Teaware (Gaiwan-Schale) bekommen habe und ausprobieren MUSS. Hat sich vom Handling/Feeling/Aussehen aber schon an Platz 2 meiner Gaiwan und Tee-Kannen Auswahl gesetzt. Platz 2 aber auch beim Preis...

Ich hatte vorher 3 Kannen und 2 Gaiwan-Schalen und von der Nutzung her... ich hatte lieber Kanne 1,2 und 3 genutzt bevor ich Gaiwan 1 nutzte. Deswegen brauchte ich eine neue Schale, damit ich öfter Tee mit einer Gaiwan Schale mache, lol. Da geht es vor allem um heiße FInger und schmerzfreies ausgießen.

This is a gong mei white tea. I'm a little confused about the age. I know that I previously sampled a brick from 2009, but the vendor presently has a brick from 2012 on their website. I'm not sure which year is this brick. It was wrapped in foil, which was inconvenient, so I tossed the original wrapper. 🤦‍♂️

It is totally oxidized. The aroma is dank and earthy. The taste is sweet and quite complex but somehow only in the front of my mouth.

I will link to the vendor in a responding post without tagging the tea bot.

Dancong Oolong was one of the first Chinese teas I tried. It has a reputation for being finicky to brew, however for the first few years, I brewed it in a fairly ordinary thin porcelain gaiwan and never really had any problems. Then I tried to "improve" my Dancong teaware, experimenting with clay, ruyao porcelain, and teapots. I was never as happy with the tea. Going back to the same old gaiwan today feels like going home, and the tea is more enjoyable.

small masterpiece of a Japanese teaware craftsmanship - #mogake (burnt seaweed patterns over the clay) #Tokoname kyusu teapot, straight out of a post box.

It's #TombTuesday but also #TeaTuesday, so I'm taking my time with this 2018 Sun Fu heicha from White2Tea. Its golden flowers—you can just see them in the closeup on the first pic—flood the room with tiny lights, adding a mysterious sweetness to the tea.

The Hagi teaware is by one of my favourite Japanese potters, Mukuhara Kashun.

And although it's December, I'm listening to Dennis Johnson's masterpiece for piano, November.

Golden brown liquor and a coffee-like palette with a thick body.
