I had a couple of failed print today. It's an 8 hour print, so it's a waste (of filament, electricity and time...). The first time I removed the part from the plate, but the second time I decided to try to resume it. (Continues...)

Well that's not what I expected 😂
But this peace of modern spaghetti art is not wasted ☝️😉 Simply measure where the print failed, perform a cut in PrusaSlicer and start printing the missing part. Then apply a free drops of your favorite glue and viola, you model has been fixed 🤓
This tip saved me a lot of prints especially if they where printed as outdoor decoration 💪

So, update to this. My print failed.
So it seems that the all metal extruder that I got a few days ago is getting too hot in my enclosure.
I fell asleep, and when I woke up, the print was done, but it stopped extruding in the last 20 layers. So I go through the normal checks, and I find that I can't extrude.
Assuming that it's a clog or something, I try to extrude manually, but it just won't move. So I disconnect the bowden tube on both ends and slip it off the filament.
The filament was squeezed flat and was basically now a wide rectangle and was just too wide for the tube.
So, I have now lowered the tension on my extruder. But it was so hot I couldn't touch the metal. So clearly it got hot and the filament became softwr and was squished.
I will see if this fixes it. Otherwise, I can't use this all metal extruder in an enclosure that is heated, or I need to lower my temps in the enclosure. It is just crazy.
