So, I've studied Genesis translations from the original Hebrew. "God" is described as both female / #NonBinary ("El Chaddai" -- the god with breasts) and also a plurality (Elohim is plural). But apparently, the "God of War" won out on the pantheon, but that's another story...

However, judging by the earliest texts, it's say it's pretty clear that God is a they/them, and doesn't have a problem with whatever gender folks embrace.
