Who uses it: Activists in Hong Kong, Belarus, Iran, and protest groups in the West. Why: If an activist is stopped, the police check the phone. In Session, there is no phone number, no address book, no logs of who spoke to whom. It is the best choice if the risk is having your device seized and trying to trace your network of contacts.

#SIMPLEX Who uses it: Whistleblowers, informants, crypto-anarchists. Why: It is the only app where a "user profile" truly doesn't exist on the server. If the server is seized, there is nothing to find. It is used when contact secrecy is vital more than ease of use.

È la scelta migliore se il rischio è che ti sequestrino il dispositivo e provino a risalire alla tua rete di contatti.

#SIMPLEX Chi lo usa: Whistleblowers, informatori, crypto-anarchici. Perché: È l'unica app dove davvero non esiste un "profilo utente" sul server. Se il server viene sequestrato, non c'è nulla da trovare. È usato quando la segretezza del contatto è vitale più della facilità d'uso.

Die rechtliche Basis für die Nutzung von US-Cloud-Angebote war immer schon wackelig. Nach der Machtübernahme von Donald Trump in den USA ist das Transatlantic Data Privacy Framework (TADPF) tot. Es hat nur noch niemand gerufen: „Der Kaiser ist nackt!“
