I saw several little camouflaged caterpillars, presumably wavy lined emerald moths. There were four on the hoary mountain mint alone.

There are a lot of what I assume to be fugitive seedlings coming up in my winter sowing (my just desserts for reusing potting medium) - but I'm pretty sure the tall bellflower, smooth Penstemon, and Maryland goldenaster are actually starting to come up. 🌱 #nativeplants 🦀⛵ #Maryland 🌎 #ecoregion65
